Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA process. This is a non-treating, non-determination role focused on assessments and documentation.

You will conduct comprehensive eye exams, review electronic medical records via a secure portal, perform Visual Field Testing, and complete VA forms. The schedule is predictable with no on-call duties and malpractice insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Optometry license.
• Proficiency with Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Experience with electronic medical records and web portals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review medical records via secure web portal.
• Document exam findings and complete VA forms.
• Note: role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
• Caseload: 4-6 Veterans per day.
• Equipment provided (computer and documentation tools).
