Job summary

MRG Exams seeks a dedicated Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans. This is a non-treating, non-determination role focused solely on assessments, with an in-person, part-time schedule.

You will review electronic medical records via a secure portal, conduct eye exams including Visual Field Testing, document findings, and complete VA forms. Training and ongoing support are provided; no on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Holds an active & unrestricted Optometrist or Ophthalmologist license.
• Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data.
• Compassionate, professional and empathetic demeanor with Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Perform eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Document exam findings and complete VA forms accurately.
