Job summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Hillsboro, OR. This full-time, on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly rate.

The ideal candidate holds an active NP/PA license, NCCPA certification, a master's degree or PA program completion, and a BLS certification. Vaccination per CDC/state guidelines is required. On-site exams and ancillary testing are available.

• NCCPA certification and maintenance throughout employment

• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good interpersonal skills and adaptability
• Basic computer skills
• On-site staff must be vaccinated per CDC/state guidelines

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and perform one-time, non-treatment Veterans Affairs exams.
• Capture responses using web-based examination forms and submit electronically.
• Exams are sent to the VA for disability determinations.
• Conduct standard exams (musculoskeletal, cardio, respiratory).
• Ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) may be ordered and performed on-site or nearby.
