Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors performing disability examinations for Veterans.

You will work in your own ADA/OSHA compliant office with the potential for per diem opportunities and supervision from a physician, with malpractice coverage provided for work done on behalf of the company. Examinations require a state license, a master’s degree in nursing, and prior disability-exam experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (Required).
• Active and unrestricted license in the state where examinations are performed.
• Own office that is ADA/OSHA compliant.
• Previous disability examination experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review medical and military records.
• Gather and synthesize clinical evidence.
• Conduct diagnostic testing as required.
• Interview Veterans.
