Job summary

Elite Worldwide is seeking a Diesel Technician exclusive to U.S. Military Veterans with an Honorable Discharge to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles, leveraging military training for reliable, high-quality work.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, engine rebuilds, and keep precise service records while following OSHA and company safety standards; CDL is a plus and manuals reading is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel engines during military service (tanks, tactical vehicles, generators, trucks).
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and bulletins.
• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Conduct engine rebuilds, component overhauls, and part replacements with precision.
• Interpret work orders and technical documentation to determine repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
• Utilize military-level discipline and attention to detail in every repair or service task.
• Adhere to all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders regarding job status and repair needs.
