Job summary

Elite is seeking a Diesel Technician to apply military-trained skills in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles. This role is restricted to U.S. Military Veterans who have received an Honorable Discharge.

You will read schematics, operate diagnostic equipment, and follow safety procedures while contributing to a dedicated team. CDL is a plus; MOS/Rating backgrounds such as 91B, 3521, CM, or 2T3X1 are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge.
• Proven experience working on diesel engines during military service (e.g., tanks, tactical vehicles, generators, transport trucks).
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Conduct engine rebuilds, component overhauls, and part replacements with precision.
• Interpret work orders and technical documentation to determine repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure documentation complies with standards.
