Job summary

Elite Worldwide is seeking a Diesel Technician experienced in military vehicle diesel systems to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment. The role is open exclusively to U.S. Military Veterans with an Honorable Discharge.

You will apply disciplined military training to perform preventive maintenance, interpret manuals and schematics, and document work in compliance with company and regulatory standards. A relevant CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge.
• Proven experience working on diesel engines during military service.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and bulletins.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Conduct engine rebuilds, component overhauls, and part replacements with precision.
• Interpret work orders and technical documentation to determine repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
• Utilize military-level discipline and attention to detail in every repair or service task.
• Adhere to all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders regarding job status and repair needs.
