Job summary

Elite Worldwide is seeking a Diesel Technician to leverage military training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles. This role requires Honorable Discharge veterans and emphasizes safety and documentation.

The successful candidate will read manuals and schematics, use diagnostic tools, and perform engine rebuilds while maintaining thorough records and adhering to OSHA standards. CDL is a plus, physical work is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge.
• Experience working on diesel engines in military vehicles.
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and bulletins.
• Familiar with hand and power tools; diagnostic equipment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand long.
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Conduct engine rebuilds, component overhauls, and part replacements with precision.
• Interpret work orders and technical documentation to determine repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure documentation complies with standards.
• Utilize discipline and attention to detail in every repair task.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and readiness.
• Communicate job status and repair needs to supervisors.
