Qualifications

• Experience in higher education, workforce development, career services, student affairs, or veteran services.
• Experience developing and maintaining employer partnerships and events such as career fairs.
• Familiarity with career management platforms, ATS systems, and job posting databases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary staff member responsible for the daily operations and oversight of the Veterans and Career Services Center.
• Create a welcoming environment that supports veteran student success and connect to campus resources.
• Develop programs and events that promote veteran student success, hiring opportunities, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, employers, and community partners to strengthen education-to-employment pathways.
• Provide individualized career exploration support through in-person, virtual, and phone appointments.
• Assist students with résumé development, cover letters, interview prep, and job search strategies.
• Support internships, work-based learning, and employment aligned with goals.
• Maintain and promote the college's job and internship posting database.
• Deliver career readiness workshops on résumé writing, interviewing, job searching, professionalism, and career planning.
• Track student engagement and outcomes related to career services initiatives.
• Establish relationships with local employers and workforce partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
