Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) is seeking a Home Base Iowa Career Planner to provide comprehensive career planning and employment services to veterans and eligible family members at the Des Moines, IA location. After training, employees transition to the Camp Dodge location in Johnston, IA, with hybrid telework options after six months.

The role focuses on assessments, individualized employment plans, and facilitating training, job placement, and partnerships to support veteran employment

Qualificações

• Four-year college degree required.
• Four years of full-time work experience in career services, teaching, or training to improve skills or job placement.
• Experience with veterans and eligible family members is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive career planning and employment services to veterans and eligible family members.
• Develop individualized employment plans and coordinate training and job placement.
• Educate clients on Iowa WORKS services and state incentives.
