Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration in Bonham, Texas seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (Community Living Center) to deliver high-quality nursing care to Veterans in a team-based setting.

You will perform med administrations, monitor patient status, document changes, and mentor less-experienced staff, with a focus on dignified, respectful care and collaboration with RNs and physicians. This is a full-time, 12-hour shift role with federal benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in geriatric/community living centers preferred.
• Ability to document and report changes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to diverse veteran populations.
• Administer medications and treatments per established policies.
• Document changes and report deviations to RN/provider promptly.
