Job summary

Kiavets in Barboursville, WV, is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join their Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as Automotive Service Technicians. This full-time role offers on-the-job training while working toward Kia Service Technician certification.

Participants will gain hands-on dealership experience, receive support to develop technical skills, and may be eligible for a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
