Job summary

Kiavets is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join their Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as Automotive Service Technicians. This full-time position offers hands-on training to help you gain the skills needed for Kia Service Technician certification.

You will work alongside experienced technicians while performing diagnostics and repairs on Kia vehicles, ensuring a top-quality customer service experience.

The role includes a Monthly Housing Allowance for eligible Veterans, making this an excellent opportunity to transition into the automotive industry.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia diagnostic procedures.
Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
