Job summary

Kiavets in Winchester, VA, is looking for Military Veterans to join their Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program as Automotive Service Technicians. This full-time position allows Veterans to gain hands-on experience, complete a year-long GI Bill® approved apprenticeship, and acquire Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates should possess mechanical experience and an honorable military discharge. Training and support are provided to ensure career development in the automotive field.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including various systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and maintain safety procedures.

Skills

Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Mechanical or technical field experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
