Job summary

Santa Fe Kia in Santa Fe, NM, seeks Military Veterans for a full-time Automotive Service Technician role. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), a year-long program offering hands-on training and leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Participants will work with experienced professionals while gaining the skills necessary for automotive service. The program is GI Bill approved, allowing eligible Veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
