This program offers hands-on experience and a structured apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Ideal candidates must have an honorable discharge from military service and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have honorable discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a mechanical or technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure a positive customer experience.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field

Ability to work in a fast‑paced dealership service environment

Education
