Job summary

Kia VTAP Apprenticeship Program is recruiting veterans for a structured, full-time path to becoming Kia Service Technicians. You will diagnose, repair, and service Kia vehicles and complete warranty orders within a participating Kia Retailer network.

The one-year competency-based apprenticeship is GI Bill approved, with access to tools, equipment, and training, plus potential GI Bill housing allowance during the program.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from military service.
• Valid driver's license from any state with clean record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field.
• Willing to complete and pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests per policies
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose using Kia strategies, equipment, and tools
• Perform services and repairs in a timely fashion while communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure customer satisfaction
