Job summary

Kiavets in Naperville, IL is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join the Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program. This program provides veterans with a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification.

Participants gain hands-on experience while working full-time at a Kia dealership and receive comprehensive training and support to develop their automotive technical skills. The program is GI Bill approved, allowing eligible veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
