Job summary

A structured apprenticeship program for veterans offers a full-time opportunity as an Automotive Service Technician. Participants will work at a Kia dealership, gaining hands-on experience while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates must have mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check. The program provides support and required training, with eligible veterans receiving a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including various systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors for customer satisfaction.
