Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Columbus, GA, is seeking Military Veterans to become Automotive Service Technicians through a structured apprenticeship. Participants will gain hands-on experience while completing a one-year competency-based program that leads to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, performing inspections, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Eligible Veterans can receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must have Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
