Job summary

Operation Kindness Humane Society in Dallas, TX is seeking a Veterinary Technician - Community to join our Medical-Community team. The role provides technician support during high-volume community wellness events and clinics, delivering compassionate care to clients and their pets.

You will assist veterinarians, triage patients, prepare and recover; participate in surgeries and vaccinations, explain discharge instructions, and maintain inventory and records.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Vet Tech experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in Texas.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide technician support to the medical-community program during high-volume events.
• Triage patients at check-in and assist the veterinarian on duty.
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients during surgeries and wellness services.
• Explain discharge instructions and medication use to pet owners.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and accurate records.
