Job summary

Operation Kindness seeks a Veterinary Technician-Community to support the medical-community program at weekend wellness and vaccine events in Dallas, TX. You will provide triage, prep, and recovery support, while delivering excellent client service to pet owners.

The role requires at least one year of Vet Tech experience; bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Regular full-time hours with competitive benefits are offered by this nonprofit shelter.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Vet Tech experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Background checks and drug screens are part of hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for animals and pet owners in the Community Initiatives program.
• Provide technical support including triage, prep, and recovery during high-volume weekend events.
• Assist the veterinarian on duties including anesthesia, medications, and surgeries as needed.
• Document drug logs and patient activity in accurate records.
