Job summary

Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital is seeking a Vet Assistant - Client Services to join our team in a dual-role position combining veterinary assistant duties with client service support. This float role offers coverage across six Legacy Veterinary Group locations in NC, providing variety and collaboration with teams throughout our network.

Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia, radiology, lab procedures, and patient care is valued.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple hospital locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments and assist with front desk operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and client information.
• Communicate professionally with pet owners.
• Navigate multiple computer systems and veterinary software platforms.
• Support a positive and welcoming environment for clients and patients.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Place IV and urinary catheters.
• Administer medications through IV, IM, SQ, and oral routes.
• Collect blood samples and perform in-house laboratory testing.
• Assist with radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Perform dental radiology and assist with dental procedures.
• Support anesthesia and patient monitoring.
• Assist with surgeries, dentals, and patient recovery.
• Deliver quality patient care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
