Job summary

Pangaea Logistics Solutions is seeking a Supervisor to oversee stevedoring operations at our US Gulf/ East Coast terminals. You will coordinate workers, ensure safe loading and unloading of dry-bulk and break-bulk cargo, and act as liaison between the agency and terminal operations to deliver seamless service.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s or equivalent, 5+ years in marine terminal operations, strong leadership and safety focus, and TWIC eligibility. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma / GED with 5+ years in marine terminal operations.
• Experience in containers, dry-bulk and breakbulk cargo terminal operations.
• Computer literate; TOS knowledge is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license and TWIC (or ability to obtain TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all workers in stevedoring operations.
• Serve as liaison between the agency and terminal operations to ensure flawless customer service.
• Advocate safety through communication, procedures, and management directives.
• Lead safety meetings and oversee crew structuring for efficiency.
• Prepare reports on stevedoring activities and submit to the relevant department.
