Job summary

Gulf Agency Company is seeking a Boarding Agent to manage day-to-day vessel operations from pre-arrival through departure and close-out. You will coordinate with port authorities, terminals, and service providers to ensure regulatory compliance and timely communication with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires ownership of each job, cost awareness, accurate documentation, and timely status updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience in maritime, shipping agency, port operations, or logistics strongly preferred.
• Strong operational mindset to manage multiple vessel activities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and capable of accurate records, documentation, and billing support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel arrivals, port stays, and departures with pilots, terminals, agents, and authorities.
• Act as the main contact for assigned vessel calls and update owners, operators, and internal teams.
• Prepare and manage Disbursement Accounts and monitor port call costs.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and data updates in GAC systems.
