Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking four Project Construction Managers to lead day-to-day construction at the shipyard for a new marine vessel designed to support at-sea recovery of orbital-class rocket boosters. You will work under a Technical Lead to ensure build quality and schedule adherence, coordinating with ABS, USCG, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Marine Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture, plus 2+ years in shipyard construction, with strong

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Safety mindset and following procedures in hazardous operations.
  • Experience contributing to build schedules or status reports.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day construction management activities at the shipyard.
  • Monitor shipyard contractor performance for quality and schedule adherence.
  • Track milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues with mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate with ABS surveyors and USCG inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Support procurement, installation schedules, and commissioning plans for electrical systems.
