Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fleet Naval Architect (Analyst / Naval Architect) based in Florida. This hands-on role requires expertise in managing maritime assets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and technical oversight. You will coordinate with multiple teams to maintain in-service vessels and oversee upgrades and modifications.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience as well as leadership skills to mentor junior engineers and manage regulatory obligations effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of combined relevant field experience in vessel asset management or sailing as Chief Engineer.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues on vessels including engine room casualties.
• Experience planning and executing drydock periods and ABS surveys.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority over in-service maritime assets.
• Plan, scope, and technically execute drydock periods and regulatory inspections.
• Lead casualty investigations and root-cause analyses for operational anomalies.
