Blue Origin seeks a seasoned maritime operations leader to manage the ground systems, test, and launch facilities with a focus on expanding offshore and vessel-based support for space hardware recovery.

The role directs a team of engineers, naval architects, and crew, coordinating asset availability, budgets, and schedules across Blue Origin locations in service of rapid expansion of maritime capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field with 5+ years ship/airboat experience.
• 5+ years as port engineer or vessel operations manager.
• MMC and USCG/ABS regulatory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support offshore operations and coverage for mission needs.
• Lead vessel engineers and crew to maintain asset readiness.
• Manage design and construction of new vessels and maintenance planning.
• Create and manage operating budgets.
• Coordinate with Port Authority and 3rd parties.
