Job summary

Miami HEAT is seeking a Vertical Content & Growth Manager to lead top‑of‑funnel growth through short‑form vertical video, with Instagram as the primary platform and TikTok where applicable.

You will set the brand's vertical strategy, direct the Vertical Content Creator, and partner with the Content Strategy team to translate data into scalable content and audience growth, including game‑day content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or communications.
• 3–5 years in social media with growth of non-follower audiences.
• Expert knowledge of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, trends and formats.
• Ability to interpret analytics to inform strategy.
• Hands-on content creation: shoot and edit vertical video.

Responsibilities

• Own the brand's top-of-funnel vertical strategy (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• Lead the Vertical Content Creator with Instagram as the primary expertise.
• Maintain a presence on other HEAT platforms and ensure consistent voice.
• Conceive and launch original content franchises that resonate with non-followers.
• Develop profile-conversion paths to turn visits into followers.
• Partner with the Growth Marketing team to measure and scale growth.
• Run disciplined testing to validate content with new audiences.
• Own tagging standards across all accounts for trackability.
• Ideate and shoot/edit premium vertical content to set the creative bar.
• Be the internal authority on emerging platform behavior.
