Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. is seeking Construction Inspectors and Material Testing Technicians to support our Building Construction Management/Quality Assurance division across multiple Ohio project sites.

Entry to senior level opportunities are available, with mentoring and ongoing training provided based on experience. We value candidates with a passion for construction inspection, problem solving, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• High School, Technical School, or Community College graduate.
• Preferred: Associate Degree with 2 years of related work experience or Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in related field.
• ACI Grade I Concrete Testing Technician (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Performs construction inspector/materials testing services for vertical construction projects (buildings).
• Tests, inspects, and reports on concrete pours, rebar placement, and soils placement as examples.
• May perform lab testing and observation of soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• Notifies Contractor or Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
