Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Construction Inspectors and Materials Testing Technicians to support our Building Construction Management/QA division. We offer mentoring and growth opportunities and support vertical construction projects across multiple states from Columbus area.

Ideal candidates have exposure to vertical construction, strong communication, and willingness to travel within a two-hour Columbus radius. A company truck may be provided or reimbursement for personal vehicle use is offered.

Qualifications

• High School, Tech School or Community College graduate.
• Preferred: Associate Degree with 2 years of related work experience or Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in related field.
• ACI Grade I Concrete Testing Technician certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs concrete testing, rebar inspection, and other materials testing for vertical construction projects.
• Tests, inspects, and reports on concrete pours, rebar placement, and soils testing.
• May perform lab testing and observation of soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• Prepares and maintains project records and reports.
• Notifies Contractor or Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
