Job summary

CTL Engineering is hiring Construction Inspectors and Materials Testing Technicians of all experience levels. Salary ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 hourly, with opportunities to mentor and advance within Building Construction Management/Quality Assurance.

Most projects are within a two-hour radius of Columbus, OH. We offer a company truck or reimbursement for using your vehicle, a typical Monday–Friday day shift (some Saturdays may be required), and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school/technical school/college graduate required or preferred.
• Associate degree with 2 years related experience or Bachelor’s degree or certification preferred.
• ACI Grade I Concrete Testing Technician certification is preferred.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driving record and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete testing, rebar inspection, and other materials testing for vertical construction projects.
• Test, inspect, and report on concrete pours, rebar placement, soil placement, and related activities.
• Inspect and sample construction materials and prepare project records/reports.
• Notify Contractor or Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
