Job summary

4LEAF, Inc. in Santa Clara County is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee vertical building projects within a Capital Improvement Program.

You will coordinate with clients, design professionals, contractors, and inspectors to drive delivery from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate has CM accreditation and proven experience managing vertical construction, with strong scheduling, cost control, and contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• Current accreditation as a Certified Construction Manager is required.
• Demonstrated construction management experience on vertical building construction projects is required.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, contract administration, quality management, and project closeout.
• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with public agency clients, contractors, design professionals, and project teams.
• Registration as a Civil Engineer (PE) or Licensed Architect is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vertical building construction projects from construction through project closeout.
• Coordinate project activities among the client, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance with contract documents.
• Review and track project schedules, submittals, RFIs, change requests, payment applications, and other construction documents.
• Lead or participate in project meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Identify and communicate project risks, delays, cost changes, and potential impacts to the client.
• Coordinate the resolution of construction issues and help ensure work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Support inspections, punch-list activities, testing, commissioning, acceptance, and final project documentation.
