Arc of Kentucky/Logan County, Llc is seeking a Float RN to support Pre-Op, OR, and PACU across multiple shifts in Saint Matthews, KY. The role centers on maintaining patient flow, safety, and efficient daily operations in a busy surgical setting.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, assisting the surgical team, administering medications as orders dictate, and documenting care accurately. Requires RN license and BLS/ACLS certification with strong infection control and communication skills.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and deliver total nursing care to pre-operative patients.
• Record and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in patients.
• Administer medications and pre-operative sedation.
• Prepare operating room and maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist surgical team and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Document intraoperative care accurately in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards including policies.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
