Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an RN for Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery (PACU). The role is 40 hours weekly, full time, dayshift, with continuity of care by keeping the same nurse when possible.

Candidates must have active Kentucky RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year of PACU or ICU experience; strong clinical knowledge, organizational and communication skills; ability to work pre and post-op areas and in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN Licensure in the State of Kentucky.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in PACU or ICU.
• Proficient in starting IVs.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in Pre-Op and PACU, ensuring continuity of care with the same nurse when possible.
• Assess perioperative patients and support rapid recovery in Phase II.
