Job summary

Wells is seeking a Production Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations, including stripping, setting up, and pouring beds, while aligning with Quality Control to ensure quality and cleanliness. You will contribute across Production, Yard, and Patching, promoting safety and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and reliability, with a strong work ethic and basic measurement skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• General math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work with others to complete projects efficiently and independently when needed.
• Knowledge of the company products and which would work best.
• Ability to adapt to changes implemented to become Best in Class.

Responsibilities

• Work with co-workers to strip, set up, and pour beds in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure product quality.
• Follow directions from Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Be flexible to work in Production, Yard, Patching, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and strong housekeeping.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Follow established quality programs and consistently produce high-quality work.
• Maintain professional attitude and strong attendance across departments.
