Job summary

Wells in Minnesota is seeking a Production Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations by stripping, setting up, and pouring beds in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with Quality Control and supervision to ensure products meet quality standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment.

This role also supports multiple areas including Yard and Patching, participates in Lean initiatives, and follows team leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors and managers.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform general math tasks.
• Ability to collaborate with others to complete projects efficiently.
• Knowledge of the products the company uses and which products work best.
• Willingness to adapt to different areas of the plant as needed.

Responsibilities

• Strip, set up, and pour beds in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure product quality.
• Follow directions from Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Work across Production, Yard, Patching and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support established quality programs and consistently produce high-quality work.
• Maintain professional attitude, strong attendance, and positive working relationships.
