Job summary

The Community Group in Greater Lawrence seeks a dedicated teacher to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children, fostering active learning and creativity. You will collaborate with staff, support assistants, and families, maintain progress records, and participate in trainings and meetings.

This full-time role includes a nine-hour shift, on-site work, and opportunities for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification is required.
• 21+ years of age.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Lead and train assistants, volunteers, and interns.
• Collaborate with staff to design daily activities and routines.
• Assess and communicate child development to parents and team.
• Maintain records of student progress and prepare reports.
