Job summary

The Community Group in Lawrence, MA is hiring a dedicated early childhood teacher for our Community Day Early Learning Program. You will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, create a nurturing classroom, and support young learners through engaging activities and caring supervision.

Qualifications include MA EEC Teacher Certification and an associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification is required or strongly preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning.
• Lead and train assistants, volunteers, and interns to support learning.
• Collaborate with staff to craft age-appropriate daily activities and routines.
• Deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom materials and resources.
• Monitor progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
