Job summary

Noodles & Company in Omaha is seeking a friendly Cook to join our enthusiastic crew. You will prepare noodles, salads, soups and sandwiches, greet guests, handle orders, and help deliver a great dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

You may perform cook, cashier and/or server duties, adhere to safety standards, work nights and weekends, and contribute to a positive team. A free shift meal is provided and dependability is valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome.
• Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety/security.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Prepare food items including prep, noodles, salads, soups, sandwiches.
• Check food quality and temperatures to ensure safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant areas.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints.
• Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift.
• Act with integrity and promote the brand culture.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
