Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Float Pool. The RN floats across inpatient units to provide patient care, gaining exposure to diverse populations and specialties at onsite Jamaica Plain location.

The role requires a BSN, Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and strong interpersonal and analytic skills. The schedule includes 36 hours with Day/Nights (3) 12-hour shifts, plus weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
• Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
• Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards

Responsibilities

• Float amongst inpatient units to provide patient care where needed.
