Job summary

CompoSecure, a trusted maker of Premium Metal Payment Cards, seeks a hands-on production specialist in New Jersey. This role requires operating CNC machining, lamination, engraving, and card finishing systems, with flexibility to support multiple functions on the line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of CNC, tacking, lamination, engraving, or card finishing.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD files.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support team flexibility.
• Lean manufacturing familiarity and ISO quality systems knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer literacy for equipment interfaces, reporting, and tracking.
• Basic measurement tools knowledge (depth gauges, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, lamination, engraving, and card finishing equipment to produce components.
• Perform precise tacking operations per production requirements.
• Inspect and verify output quality at each stage.
• Document production data, process parameters, and quality checks.
• Flex between functions and workstations based on demand.
• Adapt to changes in workflow, priorities, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address bottlenecks and resource gaps.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe workspace.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
