Job summary

Brightview Senior Living in Tenafly, NJ is hiring a Maintenance teammate responsible for repairs, safety compliance and daily upkeep of the community. You will fix faucets, replace fixtures, paint, and assist with safety protocols while delivering friendly service to residents and fellow associates.

You will clean and prepare apartments for new residents, manage supplies, monitor all areas for safety, and help the team set up activities and events that contribute to a welcoming living

Qualifications

• You have prior Maintenance, Housekeeping and/or Janitorial experience.
• You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
• You like to be busy with a variety of tasks.
• You are the go-to person whenever someone needs something fixed!

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance repairs such as fixing faucets, replacing light fixtures, and painting.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and associates.
• Clean and prepare apartment homes for new residents.
• Ensure proper storage of maintenance supplies.
• Continuously monitor community areas and grounds to ensure safe maintenance.
• Assist team members in setting up activities and events at the community.
