Job summary

Brightview Senior Living LLC in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, clean and well maintained. You will respond to resident requests, perform repairs from faucets to lighting fixtures, and help ready apartments for new residents.

A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to handle a variety of tasks are essential in our busy environment, with competitive pay ranging from $23.25 to $26.75 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance, housekeeping and/or janitorial experience.
• Positive attitude and love working with people.
• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks.
• Reliable in fixing issues and assisting residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs such as fixing faucets, replacing light fixtures, and painting.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and associates.
• Clean and prepare apartment homes for new residents.
• Ensure proper storage of maintenance supplies.
• Monitor all areas to ensure proper and safe maintenance.
• Help team members set up activities and events.
