Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to support our residential properties in Michigan. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive, proactive approach.

You will handle a range of trades, perform preventive maintenance, prepare vacant units for leasing, and maintain common areas. The position may include after-hours on-call duties and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with residents and coworkers.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with coworkers, vendors, and residents.
• Identify and report issues involving employees, property, or residents to management.
• Timely complete service requests in occupied apartments.
• Maintain common hallways and community room areas.
• Turn vacant apartments to ready-for-leasing condition.
• Remove trash and debris from vacant units and assist with evictions.
• Perform basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks as needed.
• Maintain exterior and common area lighting and perform general grounds duties.
• Work overtime and be available for after-hours on-call maintenance emergencies.
