Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tampa to handle maintenance service requests for the community.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, teamwork, and flexibility to perform make-readies, groundskeeping, pool and preventative maintenance, among other duties. The position requires responding to requests promptly, coordinating with the supervisor, and ensuring safety and quality across all tasks.

Qualifications

Six months of maintenance experience preferred in residential properties.
High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification highly desired.
EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
Identify safety or maintenance issues and report to supervisor.
Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
Maintain community appearance and perform repairs as required.
Document service requests and maintenance tasks in Onesite.
Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed.
