BoxHouse Villages in Monahans, TX is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and preventative tasks across the property. You will help maintain guest accommodations, common areas, utility systems, and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across the property.
• Complete plumbing repairs, leak detection, water heater maintenance, winterization, and fixture replacements.
• Perform minor electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, lighting, exhaust fans, and GFCI outlets.
• Maintain door locks, access systems, keyless entry, and electronic lock batteries.
• Conduct basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting; coordinate major repairs when needed.
• Assist with monitoring solar systems and related equipment.
• Complete general carpentry, drywall repair, painting, remodeling, and other repair projects.
• Repair and maintain furniture, appliances, fences, fixtures, and building components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Assist with unit turns, appliance installation, furniture assembly, and property improvements.
• Maintain property grounds by removing weeds, debris, and maintenance concerns.
• Identify, report, and address safety hazards and maintenance issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Monitor maintenance supply levels and reorder materials as needed.
• Document completed work and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with outside contractors as directed.
