Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Maintenance Entry Worker to join our maintenance team. Location: Milledgeville, GA. Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm.

The role involves completing work orders, performing routine repairs, painting, and preventative maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in facility maintenance, basic carpentry/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and strong organizational skills. On-the-job training is offered; HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in facility maintenance or equivalent.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• On-the-job training offered.
• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Perform routine maintenance around the building, including repairs to windows, doors and walls.
• Paints, stains interior and exterior surfaces.
• Conducts preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Maintains a clean and organized maintenance shop and work areas.
• Assist in 24/7 emergency coverage with team members.
• Repair plumbing to prevent water damage and restore fixtures.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Follow supervisor instructions and guidance from senior staff.
• Demonstrates general carpentry and repair knowledge.
