Job summary

Rancho Seco Care Center is seeking an experienced General Contractor / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to support facility maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects across multiple locations. You will work hands-on in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, flooring, and carpentry, manage projects from start to finish, and ensure high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, flooring, and carpentry.
• Ability to read plans, scopes of work and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.
• Knowledge of building codes, life safety, and best construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee work across multiple trades.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs and installations.
• Support small to large-scale renovation and capital projects.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with facility leadership, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.
• Provide clear documentation, photos, and project updates.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment.
