Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Float Pool. As an RN in the Float Pool, you will float throughout the facility across ICU, Telemetry, M/S, and Behavioral Health units, delivering bedside care and coordinating plans with the clinical team.

You will administer medications, monitor vitals, document in electronic health records, and participate in discharge planning with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Virginia or compact license to practice nursing required.
• Minimum three years of acute care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout facility across units (ICU, Telemetry, Med/Surg, Behavioral Health).
• Instruct and educate patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications using the five rights; monitor vitals.
• Coordinate discharge planning with health-care team and ensure care continuity.
